Dear Kim Pediatric Dentistry 'Ohana,
We are happy to announce we are now open for regular care!
There are many patients we need to reschedule. We ask for your patience as this process does take some time. If your child has any immediate dental concerns please call us.
During our closure we researched extensively to find the necessary steps to keep our patients and staff safe. You will notice that we have a few requests and have made the following changes at our offices:
- Due to the size of our waiting room we are requesting only one adult (non-patient) be present in the waiting room with their child (patient). If this is not possible please call us to make arrangements.
- We are spacing out our appointments to provide social distancing in our office. If you are concerned about being in the waiting room, please call or text us when you arrive. If you prefer to wait in your car, we can call you when it is time to come into the office.
- Masks are required in the office for all adults and children (except those under the age of 2).
- Please use the hand sanitizer upon entering the office.
- All magazines, books, and toys from our waiting room have been removed.
- We are requesting a current health history questionnaire be filled out for each patient.
- Your child's temperature will be taken and a pre-treatment mouthwash is given to each patient who has the ability to rinse.
- Please postpone your child's appointment if anyone in your household has traveled in the last 14 days, been sick, or had a fever in the last two weeks.
To make an appointment please call us at 808-261-5354. We look forward to welcoming your family back to our office.
Mahalo,
Dr. Maile, Dr. Bren, and Kim Pediatric Dentistry Staff
